Ana May's Last Supper
Chapter 10
Garry & Phillip were startled to see Brother Matthew enter with someone they didn't know.
"This is Izan Knarf",said Brother Matthew.
Izan was short and thin, and dressed in a gray suit.
Brother Matthew continued,"Izan says some strange signals are coming from Guernica computers. I have offered to help him see if we can find them.
What project are you working on?"
Phillip,"It is a control project for high school students in the 21st century."
Izan in his mechanical high pitched voice said,"that sounds like something I would be interested in.
What have you found?"
Phillip said,"We have found essentially nothing new. The control methods that are currently used are adequate."
The school system by law has total control. The students are treated as clay to be manipulated. They have no right to privacy. No freedom of speech. No freedom of dress or press."
Phillip continued,"This is an excellent system for conditioning them to accept being controlled later in life. Even though we are aware it is under the pretext of education, we know it is controlled conditioning."
Izan."Yes this is a very efficient system."
Izan continued,"The test of an effective system is the dress code enforcement. Dress codes are so absurd that if you can enforce them, then you know the students are Machiavellian conditioned."
Phillip,"The difficult thing we find is teaching them they have freedoms like press, speech, and self expression when in fact they have none."
Izan,"This is where the higher education system comes in.
We have set up higher education so only the non- thinking or non-creative people can graduate.
It isn't really designed to educate. Higher education is to eliminate all those who cannot accept the machiavellian doctrine.
Phillip,"Then how do we get creative people into the culture."
Izan,"Oh we can't keep the creative people out. We just set up a licensing system like teaching certificates, Doctoral degrees, MAs and BAs to where they can never be in a position of power."
Garry, "I get it. The creative people are there. We just try to starve them out, or at least keep any rewards away from them so they won't interact with the conditioned ones."
Izan,"Yes. As long as we see to it that they are economically poor, and condition the others that economic gain is a measure of success, as Martin Luther said, then their creative ideas will never be heard. Those in power will then keep their power."
Garry,"I don't understand why so many people fall for it?"
Izan"Oh they don't fall for it! We use forced education to make them accept the conditioning. We call it mandatory, and tell everyone it is mandatory because every child is guaranteed by our government a free and equal education.
However, you notice we stop at college level. This helps to keep the creative people out. Remember, I said we keep them from economic rewards. By making colleges expensive, we eliminate most of them.
The hormonal activity of the young adult makes it very difficult to condition them, so college has to be approached differently than high school. Usually, the approach is, you do it our way and you get the certificate that puts you in an economic reward category. If not, you flunk and never have a position of power."
Izan paused and continued,"The sports in the schools do more for control than the education. We must be sure that we don't teach the students too much.
With the emphasis on sports, it is possible to keep the students ignorant. The sports serve another purpose. They are war games directed at training the youth to defend and die for the culture. Without the team sports, we at the top could not conduct a war when we believe the economy dictates."
Izan continues"Brother Matthew has expressed concern over this deceitful method in which we control so many lives. He thinks it is immoral - specifically our Joint Vocational School Systems."
Brother Matthew,"Yes the JVS systems are where we train our industrial slaves. The H.S. counselors and administrators determine by behavior and IQ type tests who they will send to the vocational schools to do the manual labor. In this
manner, they create a class of Industrial slaves who must rely upon others to cope with the business end of the civilization."
Izan interrupted,"You would not do anything to overthrow this efficient system, would you Brother Matthew?"
Brother Matthew,"Of course not. I do not want to be cast out with the creative, the industrial slaves, and the general economic deprived. Martin Luther has told me that it is true that God will judge us by our economic worth on earth.
Without my economic position I may give up my place in heaven."
Izan,"Yes, I am satisfied that you would not give up your power. Izan looked at Garry and Phillip and said," It appears that you two are not involved. I will look elsewhere. Come, Brother Matthew."
Brother Matthew said,"Follow me, I will show you the way."
Izan followed. Brother Matthew led him through a shadowed corridor with sterile gray walls and evenly numbered rooms.
Brother Matthew stopped in the middle, saying,"It is on down the hall. I remembered that I have an appointment at 6:06".
Brother Matthew left Izan in the hall, and went back to Garry,Phillip and Zarathrustra.
Brother Matthew went over to where Garry was working, and said,"I think we convinced Izan Knarf that we were Machiavellian Bandits. I left him in the shadowed corridor. He will not bother us any more."
Garry said"Good, we are almost finished. In 13 hours it will be done.
Phillip added."We are to meet in the MU Cafeteria tomorrow."
