| REAL TIME would be time that exists without artificial measurements. This is the time we become aware of while visiting Plato's Cave in Color. |
In my early studies of afterimages (about ten years ago) I noticed that they did float away and that by concentrating on the dot or a point you could prevent them from floating away. Until I began exploring "Plato's Cave in Color" I didn't know the nature of their movement. While exploring the Cave I realized that there was a time, distance, and direction relationship in their movement.
Movement Measurements - 17 October 2006
The NATURAL MOVEMENT is approximately 3/4" in 5 seconds at one foot. The NATURAL MOVEMENT is approximately 18" in 5 seconds at ten feet. At one foot the speed is .15 inches per second. At ten feet the speed is 3.6 inches per second. I see no correlation between the speed at one foot and the speed at ten feet. If we take this common way of measuring (distance moved and time elapsed) there may be no relationship and we may have to look at the afterimages themselves to find one.
