| This is the PERFECT PERFORMANCE ART PIECE because each performer has a complete Performance if performed alone. Or any two performers combined has a complete Performance Art Piece or, as in this case, all three combined make a Performance Art Piece. You could consider the Internet site www.RedQueenPrinciple.com as a performer and it also can stand alone as a Performance Art piece or be included with any combination of the three live performers to make a Performance Art piece. There are at least ten individual and combinations possible. |

MINUTE 1"Hello boys and girls. I am Dr. Jack. This [points at the white foam core] is the Red Queen. You can't see her? I know. Because she is invisible. I am going to give you SPECIAL powers so you can see her. She is inside your mind. I will tell you how to bring her out." [Points to tip of Green Queen's Nose] "Use the force by concentrating on the tip of her nose. And then you will shift your gaze to the dot on the white board." 33 seconds

"Kim Jong iL thought it would be cool to talk to a real Queen" [Carroll tears off the sheet of paper, thrown it to the ground, and reads as he writes a new page] "She thought it would be far grander to have a talk with a real Queen." MINUTE TWO
"One of the things that we think we know is that as things get farther away they become smaller. It is called perspective. However, the Red Queen does not get smaller as she gets farther away. Instead she gets larger or bigger. We all should, and I do, question all that we think we see. For instance since the Red Queen gets larger as she gets farther away and smaller as she gets closer does this mean that there may be no three dimensional space as we know it? " "Now it is time for us to capture the Red Queen. You have been given a Red Queen capture book. Open it and you will see the Green Queen on the left side. I provided a Green Queen for you that we know will be the correct size to appear and fit. Be aware that as soon as you see the Red Queen you MUST close the book or she will escape." "Start your concentration" |
MINUTE TWO [softly mumbling and writing things on paper. Tearing some of them off the note pad and throwing them on the floor.]
"The Red Queen took a ruler and measured the squares with it. She then put pegs in the ground after each two squares" [Carroll tears off the sheet of paper and drops it to the floor] "While you are refreshing yourself I will just take the measurements." [Carroll folds the sheet over in the pad] [Carroll stops writing and starts watching Alice as she begins her pointing at the clock and hop scotch] |
MINUTE TWO
[Alice finishes her drawing and looks at the 12 squares as she counts] "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve." [Alice points to the clock and starts her hopscotch. She places a rock at the end of the hopscotch board] [Each of Alice's words are made with a single jump.] "The Red Queen Waits Near The Garden Gate" |
|
MINUTE THREE [Dr. Jack starts watching Alice]
[He turns back toward the audience and says] "Oh...sorry..I was watching Alice. Did you capture the Red Queen?" "If you want to know more about your position in the Universe and the Red Queen you should go to that web site -RedQueenPrinciple.com. There is sacred knowledge there. Knowledge of a universe that you never dreamed existed but it is absolutely as real as you setting in that chair in Plato's Cave" [Dr. Jack Exits the Stage] |
MINUTE THREE
[Carroll watches her again but then starts to ignore her as he continues his writing. He pulls out his marked measure tape and begins measuring but only with his hands. He does not bend down.] "At the end of four yards it's Hi but goodbye" [Carroll tears out the she sheet of paper and drops it to the floor.] "The Red queen turned for a moment to say 'Good-bye'" |
MINUTE THREE [Alice picks up the rock with or after the eighth jump. She again points at the clock. She then continues her hop scotching.] "Pick Up Rocks Red Queen Wears Green Socks |
|
MINUTE FOUR
|
MINUTE FOUR [softly mumbling and writing things on paper. Tearing some of them off the note pad and throwing them on the floor.]
"Alice never knew how it happened but exactly as the Red Queen came to the last peg, she was gone"
[Carroll yells] "RED QUEEN PRINCIPLE" |
MINUTE FOUR [Alice picks up her rock and now places it at another position. Alice points at the clock and begins a new hop scotching. This time she singes to the tune of "Have you ever seen a Lassie"] "Have you ever seen a queenie A queenie Have you ever seen a queenie go this way and that This way And that way This way and that way Have you ever seen a queenie go this way and that." [Alice picks up the rock and throws it at the clock. She then takes the cover off the clock and holds it above her head so the audience can see it. She then smashes it with the rock.] Approximately 45 seconds of this minute |
